FSC Certified Plywood

Wolstenholme International is currently stocking one of the largest inventories of FSC  (www.fsc.org) certified hardwood plywood products in the United States.  We offer a full line of various FSC certified hardwood plywood products to meet our customers price points, and intended applications.  We provide solutions for your FSC or LEEDS requirements from our mills in Russia, Brazil, and Indonesia.

Russia

We offer a full line of Russian Birch plywood products. Wolstenholme has been importing Russian Birch from select Russian mills for over 12 years.  We offer a full line of Russian Birch plywood in many different thicknesses and sizes . Russian Birch is the strongest plywood to use for furniture frames.

Europe

Wolstenholme is the exclusive U.S. distributor of Joubert Okoume & Sapelle marine plywood produced in France.  The Okoume produced from Joubert is the worlds finest marine plywood.  It carries a certification from Lloyds of London on all BS 1088 plywood.  We also stock Italian Poplar "Eurolight"  from Italy.  Eurolight is 40% lighter than a 4x8 sheet of Russian Birch plywood.

China

We stock a complete line of Chinese plywood products.  We specialize in supplying  distributors and manufactures in the cabinet industry.  Wolstenholme stocks the following Chinese plywood products: Birch, Maple, Cherry, Red Oak, Okoume, and Meranti.

South America

South American imports consist of Brazilian Cherry  (Jatoba), virola,  and Ellitotis Pine.   Jatoba is one of the strongest hardwood plywoods to use for furniture frames.  The Ellitotis is a great substitute for domestic pine plywood.

Marine Products

Wolstenholme is proud to be the leader in Marine Plywood products.  We supply Okoume and Sapelle milled in France from Joubert.  We also stock a high end Meranti marine plywood called  Hydrotek, which is  manufactured  to a BS 1088 and Aquatek (BS 6566) which competes with domestic fir marine plywood.
